On 1 September, students gathered at O.J. Watson Park in South Wichita for a fun day of picnic. This was the first VSA event held after the start of the Fall 2003 semester. The picnic was a success as it was being joined by 60 people, many of which were new students whom never had a chance to participate in any of the VSA activities before. The weather wasn't as beautiful was everyone had hope. The sun kept hiding behind the clouds all day long. But, nevertheless, even this overcast day couldn't stop Thùy Linh --our photographer-- from taking some outstanding photos with her digital camera.
