Through an invitational request from our respected advisor, Dr. Anh Trần, the VSA cabinet met on 28 February 2004 for a special gathering. The evening, hosted by Dr. Anh Trần, was an unforgettable socialization event that featured a very friendly atmosphere accompanied with fine cuisine, courtesy of Dr. Anh Trần and of Sơn Nguyễn (chairperson of the Academic Committee, but also known as "Emeril" for his exceptional cooking skill).

It was a wonderful opportunity for the VSA to meet Dr. Anh Trần in person. Over the years, Dr. Anh Trần has been an outstanding advisor for the VSA. She was always offering briliant ideas, words of encouragementm, and well wishes to many students as well as to the entire organization. On 28 February 2004, the VSA cabinet gathered at Dr. Anh Trần's residence and took this opportunity to thank Dr. Anh Trần for all that she had done for the VSA over the years.
